oLd TiMeS...

Rae Lynn is in town visiting from Arizona and it was so fun to hang out! We have been friends since our first year at college and were roomies back in the day!! (She actually introduced Breton and me...a couple years before we started dating!) Her little boy Ethan is so precious! I wish they lived closer!!!

Ethan, KK, and Dax

More than happy to pose for the camera!! She says, "Mommy, take a picture!" I always try to get her to wear a hat and of course she usually refuses...not tonight...she immediately wanted hers on when she saw Dax with his!

Such a happy boy--especially since he just got tubes in his ears yesterday!! It was so sad, but now I am sure he will feel so much better...and we might finally get some sleep!

Halloween Festivities...

Trick or Treat!

Em, Tara, and I were the girls from Sex and the City (Samantha, Carrie, and Charlotte...minus Miranda)!!

Grant, Shane, Casey, and Breton!!

Our friends, Troy and Aubrey, had an unbelievable Halloween party...it was seriously amazing!!

Trunk or Treat...

We had our ward trunk or treat and Halloween party...Breton was David Beckham and I was a referee (obviously)!!

Trick or Treat Street...

So Tara and I (and my mom) took the kids to Trick or Treat Street at the Southtowne Expo Center. The inside is completely decorated and there are about 50 (pretend) doors the kids can go trick or treating to. It really is so cute!! Kaylin was Tinkerbell and Dax was Peter Pan (Susan made his costume in minutes and it was perfect!) Every time Kaylin would knock on a door she would say, "How are you?" and then try to have a conversation with the person at the door--it was so funny!! She was very fascinated with everything and would walk around very cautiously saying, "Not scary, not scary." This is what she tells herself because deep down she really was a little scared and nervous!!

Our Sunday Walks...

Every Sunday we try to go for a walk around our neighborhood with the kids! Breton usually has a hard time staying in the house all day...it might be a little tough to keep doing this once winter comes!!!
