Our Trip to Fresno

Swim Lessons...

We went out to Fresno for a week and a half to visit Grandma and Grandpa Stout! While we were out there we put Kaylin in the Jan Thomas Swim School!! I seriously couldn't believe how they just dunk them under right away. Kaylin pretty much cried the whole 1st lesson (as most do I guess)--it was so sad. She did such a good job though and now loves to "practice" her swimming!!

Pismo Beach...

So we went to the beach for a few days with Susan, Amber, and the boys! It was so much fun to let the kids play together! Just one problem... Kaylin does not do well at the beach. She is definitely a girl who does not like to get dirty. She obsesses over any little thing that gets on her hands and feet and has been that way ever since I can remember. Needless to say, she does NOT like the sand so I spent the whole day holding her. I put her down for one second and she pretty much had a freak out. She was perfectly content just watching everyone play while she sat on her clean towel or while I held her! Hopefully she grows out of that real soon!!

Just watching a movie and eating popcorn!! Kaylin thinks it is so fun to be hanging out with her older cousin Keith!!

It was so funny because Kaylin was right next to Keith the entire trip!! She wanted to be everywhere he was and wanted to do everything he was doing!! She loves her cousins!!

Chuck E Cheese...

Aunt Virginia wanted to get the cousins together to play at Chuck E Cheese! Kaylin's favorite thing to do was to put the coins in all the machines! She put so many coins in one of the rides that it finally jammed up!!

It is so great because whenever we go to visit Breton's family in California we always get to see my dad's side of the family since he is originally from Fresno as well!! My dad just happened to be there visiting at the same time because he was traveling through with business!!

A Day at the Zoo...

Susan and I took the kids to the zoo while we were in Fresno. Kaylin's favorite animals were the elephants and giraffes!!

We have been making several trips to the lake in Minnesota this summer while Breton travels. It is so nice to be able to visit and spend time with the family!!
